It started with a simple Photo of the front of the Butchers Market. I know a few teaders in there, so I know about most of the problems. I know the current Market strategy isn't working, and my Facebook page took off with people commenting on their own thoughts.
So the next day I went into the General Market, formally known as the Butter Market and its a sorry site of unit after closed units. There is only one trader in there, Anwar, although he does have a few units. I took some pictures and again the comments come flying in.
That night I went into Ty Pawb. Another Market but with a food Hall. This market has entertainment areas and art galleries, but the footfall seems to miss these areas as people go directly into the food Hall.
I don't know what the answer is, but its not my job to fix this problem. Does anyone have a good idea what to do with 3 markets that are not working.

We have a Butchers Market with no Butchers, a General Market with no traders and a Food Hall with Market Traders.
Maybe someone should have had a trip to Chester or Altringham and seen how markets are successfully run.
