07 week on week
This week had everything.
A title lift at the Rock.
A room full of stories remembering a legend.
And an away day that had a bit of everything—noise, edge, and chaos.
This is Wrexham, week on week.
⚽️ Wrexham Women are Champions
The hard work had already been done. The title secured. This was about the moment. This was the day the Wrexham Women were about to get the trophy which they had worked so hard for, and 1,308, a record at the Rock, had turned up for.

⚽ Champions at the Rock. Warm Up done and the Swansea players do a guard of honour for the Champions. The game is about to start.

But nobody gave Swansea a script about today, and went into the break 2-0 up. Wrexham pulled one back but the Champions suffered a defeat in their final game.

🎉 The Trophy. But it was on to the real reason we were all here. The trophy. It was presented by Wales Women manager Rhian Wilkinson and soon the champagne was popping.

👥 The Fans. They are noisy. They are loyal. They are the ultras. The Wrexham Women Supporters Group are hopefully taking over an issue of WXM Weekly in the summer. They will highlight their work and ways to get involved. And don’t forget……..they will be organising a European Trip.

Later in the week, we were invited to Hotel Wrexham to celebrate the life of a true Wrexham legend.
A room full of stories. Respect. Football people coming together.
Oh Joey… Joey.
This event was organised by a Liverpool fanzine because they thought their club hadn't done enough to celebrate a legend.

We travelled down to West Bromwich for a vital game in Wrexham’s run in. It was a classic game of 2 halves. WBA were 2 up at half time, Wrexham came back. We were sitting directly next to the home fans and there was a lot of abuse about. A bit of needle. A bit of chaos………and that's why we love football. So just a few pictures and videos to finish off this week's issue.
If you've enjoyed this issue, feel free to share it. Wrexham week on week.

And Finally. Jonathan Borg, a Wrexham fan from Malta shows Mark Griffiths his “Have my kids” tee-shirt while Mark shows his wife's “Take my Husband instead” shirt.
This is Wrexham, week on week.
The football club, the music scene, the people and the places that make the town what it is.
