08 week on week
This week had everything.
New small bands through to chart toppers.
A pub with a musical history to a venue with a similar history.
Bands on a different stage of their musical rise to stardom.
Five bands over two nights.
This is Wrexham, week on week.
🎸 Saith Seren. Gamelin.
It was my first time watching this band and I was impressed. They played covers in the Strokes/Fontaines style. If you get the chance, give these lads a watch and a follow. Would love to hear some original stuff from these lads.

🎸 Saith Seren. Cherophobes.
These lads are nearly on my “A list”. I've seen them a few times now and every time they play, the improvement shows. And, as a photographer, the lead singer Sam is a great front man. A brilliant set from these young lads.
🎸 Rockin’ Chair. Finnlay K
Finnlay K is a North Walian with a big future. A stripped back acoustic set to start the night off.

🎸 Rockin’ Chair. Keyside.
I've seen Keyside a few times, mostly in Wrexham supporting others. It’s about time these lads had a headline show in Wrexham. The cheeky scouse humour shone throughout the set. Lots of catchy songs. Another band with lots of potential.

🎸 Rockin’ Chair. The Clause.
And Finally. I've been waiting a long time for this. My partner, who was with us, commented that she didn't know many of the songs. I reassured her it would be ok as I hadn't when seeing them at Neighbourhood Weekender, but got swept along with the crowd. Any band that can get a mosh pit going at 12 noon on a sunday is ok with me. Once we'd got rid of a few boisterous ones, the crowd lapped up the songs, one after another.
My partner loved them. I loved them. Everyone loved them. They said they can't wait to return to Wrexham. Neither can I.

That's 5 bands giving Wrexham 2 great nights.
For obvious reasons ive given football a wide berth this week.
This is Wrexham, week on week.
The football club, the music scene, the people and the places that make the town what it is.
