There’s also Chapter Court! To be honest it isn’t specifically a markets thing, it’s the whole town/city centre, everything about it screams just putting up a sign saying “open for business” and then…that’s it. I’m not a businessperson so I can only offer so much insight as to how you turn that around, but if anything these things are getting worse rather than better, ie allowing McDonalds to turf out Pizza Hut, not allowing the drive through they wanted it to be, then approving them everywhere else and making the first move totally pointless, for the business who moved in as much as the one forcibly moved out. Yet you read anything about Wrexham and everybody wants to say that the place has been “transformed”…
